A Nigerian man living in Ghana has sent out a word of caution to his fellow countrymen over individuals that will invite them to Ghana with the promise of ‘company work’ and greener pastures.
He warned of trafficking networks that recruit unsuspecting individuals to ‘yahoo HKs’ and galamsey sites where young men are recruited into doing frauds.
In the video obtained by Abacity.ng – the man said it is disheartening that many Nigerians has fallen into the traps of traffickers because of pressure of traveling out of the country in search of greener pasture.
Disclosing the available jobs for Nigerian nationals in Ghana, the man said the only legit business one can venture into with less degree while in Ghana as a Nigerian is by hawking phone accessories.
He displayed his business, adding that he used to hawk around until he upgraded it to a stand, which gives him the freedom to stay in a place.
While his claim may not be confirmed to be entirely true or false, however, according to him, it’s difficult for Nigerians or any foreigner to get legitimate jobs in Ghana, because Ghanaians are also looking for jobs in their own country.
