VIDEO: JTF Arrests Kidnappers, Herdsmen Terrorizing Ngor-Okpala Aba Road
Two kidnappers terrorizing the Ngor-Okpala Aba Road in Imo State has been captured by the joint task force on Monday, 10th March 2025.
The operation conducted by the Army, Police and local vigilante recorded a successful outcome as the criminals were arrested.
Parading the suspects, the army Chief said they captured the criminals at their hideout in Ngor-Okpala. The army officer asked the villagers to be vigilant and always reach out to the authorities whenever they saw something and not take laws into their hands.
One of the villagers who spoke during the parade said the criminals has caused so much pain to them, according to him, Fulani Herdsmen in their community has been destroying their crops and raping their women.
“Fulani herdsmen has caused us so much pain, destroying our farms and raping our women”, the man said, while thanking the army for coming to their rescue.
Another villager who spoke during the parade said two of the kidnappers are from Abala in Obingwa LGA, Abia State.
