Nengi speaks out over Rumors of getting pregnant for a Nigerian Governor

Nengi Rebecca Hampson, Big Brother Naija Reality TV Star has reacted to the viral reports of her being pregnant for a Nigerian governor.

Nengi, who is currently a Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to Bayelsa State governor, Douye Diri, pleaded with social media users and rumour mongers to allow her enjoy her pregnancy in peace.

In a post on her X account, Nengi admitted that she is pregnant, however, not for any governor.

“As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits so let me be clear, I’m not pregnant for any Governor.” Nengi tweeted.

According to her, she chooses to speak out so to clear the air, and described the reports as an attack on her person.

“I’ve chosen to speak coz this isn’t just an attack on me, it involves people I hold in the highest regard, and I won’t allow a beautiful, personal part of my life be turned into something ugly.”

“While I continue to mind my own business and enjoy my pregnancy in PEACE …” Nengi concluded.

Abacity.ng recalled that rumours of the beautiful Reality TV Star getting pregnant for a Governor went viral after an Instagram blog, Gistlover posted the earlier reports, alleging Nengi had an affair with her boss, the Bayelsa State governor, Douye Diri which resulted to pregnancy.
