BREAKING: EFCC Arrests Ifeanyi Okowa former Governor of Delta State
The Economic Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested Ifeanyi Okowa, the former governor of Delta state, on accusations of misusing funds derived from resource allocation.
Okowa was questioned due to accusations of misappropriating N1.3 Trillion, which is reportedly a portion of the 13 percent derivation fund designated for states that produce oil.
These funds were allegedly misappropriated during the period from 2015 to 2023.
