Speed Darlington’s Lawyer Speaks as the Musician regains FREEDOM after two months in detention
Stan Alieke, lawyer representing popular Nigerian musician, Speed Darlington, has finally addressed the media on the release of his client.

Abacity.ng recalled that Speed Darlington was sent to prison pending his trial following a defamation lawsuit filed by another popular musician, Burna Boy.
The artiste who was held behind bars for over two months without trial was released yesterday.
Speaking on his release, the legal practitioner, Alieke said him and his team of lawyers representing Speed Darlington will find a way to get justice for their client, having put behind bars for two months without trial.

“Delighted to announce that our client, Mr Darlington Achakpo Aka Speed Darlington (Akpi) has regained his freedom after two months of illegal incarceration.” – Mr Alieke posted on X formerly Twitter.
“For the record, as his team of lawyers, we will be exploring every angle of the law to ensure that he gets justice for….”

Meanwhile, it should be recalled that Speed Darlington released a new song called “Baby Oil” after he was arrested and detained for the first time by police following Burna Boy’s defamation suit.
The artiste is yet to make any comment since he was released for the second time.
