Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, has said “poor knowledge of the law is killing Nigeria.”

Kanu, who was brought to court today in Abuja, following the continuation of his trial, said even “the prosecution and the court don’t know the law, that is the fact.”
The visibly angry Kanu said he is agitating for Biafra because it is his right and it is backed by the law.
In a post shared on X, his lawyer, Mazi Aloy Ejimakor, said they stood their ground while the matter was called up at the court, noting that today’s hearing was illegal.
“Today’s “hearing” of Onyendu MAZI NNAMDI KANU’s case is concluded. We stood our ground & told the Judge that she no longer possesses jurisdiction over MNK & that we appeared “under protest”. Onyendu took the center stage & spoke eloquently. FYI: The proceedings today is illegal.” Ejimakor said.
Meanwhile, the case was adjourned indefinitely. Watch the video below!
In another courtroom video, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu schooled the Chief Judge, Justice Binta Nyako on the rule of law.

Abacity.ng recalled that Kanu is facing terrorism charges brought against him by the federal government. The IPOB leader in several court sittings has denied his involvement in terrorism, stressing that he is only agitating for Biafra, which is his rights and it’s backed by the law.
Kanu was rearrested in Kenya On 27 June 2021 and has been in detention, while trumped up charges filed by the Nigerian government.
