1. Finland Introduced Tuition Fee

Now, most schools have increased the tuition fees with little or no scholarship. The average tuition is 8000-11000 euro per year.
2. Finland Application Fee
- For the first time, Finland introduced application fee of 100 euro this year. Those who applied for the UAS joint admission in January paid the application fee.
3. Increase In Proof Of Funds (POF)
- The proof of funds (POF) in Finland has moved from €6720 per year to €9600.
4. Finland Withdraws Jobs For International Students
- Unlike before, students were given the opportunity to work and study, but the recent government has withdrawn the opportunity and there are no jobs for students.
- When I say student jobs, I mean menial jobs. If you decide to go to Finland, have your tuition fees for 3 years.
5. Consider Student Accomodations
- Student accommodation is averagely €300 across cities per month.
6. Not An English Speaking Country
- In Finland they speak Finnish language not English, and Finnish language does not share any root with English language.
7. Again, No Jobs For International Students
- Many students who came last year are jobless, stranded and are leaving.
8. Beware Of Scam
- These people advertising Finland in Nigeria only care about the consultation fee you will pay them.
9. Finland Plans To Introduce Tuition Fees For Vocational Schools
Vocational schools were free in Finland but degree programs were not. Finland is planning to introduce tuition fees for vocational schools this year.
Even with the free tuition for vocational schools, you still have to prove €9600 for your living expenses. So, do not be deceived that POF can be arranged with work contract. You should know that this penultimate sentence sold them out. No good will come out from them.
