VIDEO: Enugu State govt to arrest Fake Native Doctors, Herbalist
Enugu State government has announced plan to start the arrest and prosecution of native doctors, herbalist without proper registration in the state.
The state government through a vehicle broadcast warned fake native doctors and herbalist to vacate the state, stressing that failure to do so, the law will catch up with them.
The announcement, which was made by the Enugu State Association of Traditional Medicine Practitioners, ESATMP, urged native doctors and herbalist in the state to go for a proper registration and obtain a certificate to enable the state government to checkmate their activities.
They further warned native doctors that specializes in making charms to Kidnappers and other criminals in the State to desist from such act.
The announcement is coming barely few months after the Anambra State government went after fake native doctors in the State, this includes the arrest of a popular Anambra based native doctor, known as Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki.
