VIDEO: Delta State Commissioner for Health Direct Immediate Withdrawal of Query Issued to Nursing Student
Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, has directed the immediate withdrawal of the query issued to Nursing Student Osato Edobor by the Provost of the School of Nursing Sciences, Agbor.

AbaCity.ng reports that the provost of Delta State College of Nursing Sciences,
Agbor Delta State, Mrs. Evbodaghe Rita Ogonne, had issues a query to Nursing Student who posted a viral video and a song rejecting First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu as their mother.
The First Lady was in Delta State College Nursing Sciences on Tuesday, 25th of March for the Renewed Hope Initiative Health Programme and diatribution of 10,000 Professional Kits (Crocs and Scrubs) to Midwives in each Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria South South Zone.
During her visit, the Nursing Student was asked to sign along a song dedicated to the First Lady, calling her “Our Mother.” However, their response went viral on social media.
Felt embarrassed over the video, the school authorities through the provost, issued query to the Nursing student, noting that anyone found guilty of posting the video on their social media account will be facing possible punishment.

Reacting, on Friday, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, the commissioner for Health directed for immediate withdrawal of the query.
He said the decision stems from a commitment to ensuring that the rights of every student in health sciences and related health programmes are upheld, this way, fostering a conducive learning environment for their academic excellence.
