VIDEO: Stray Bullet Kills Woman In Anambra as State Govt Arrests Shooter
A woman has been confirmed dead in Anambra State after being hit by stray bullet.
The incident happened on Tuesday night at Ibeto junction in Nnewi, Anambra State.
According to eyewitness reports, the shooting occurred when the local vigilante a.k.a Operation Udo gachi personnel opened fire, shooting sporadically as they met a traffic jam at the Ibeto junction.
During the sporadic shooting, stray bullet hit a woman, she was rushed to a nearby hospital and was confirmed dead.
“There was traffic jam at ibeto junction side instead of the Udogachi people to come down from their vehicle and assist in controlling the traffic one of them started shooting anyhow and ended up killing this woman for nothing,” an eyewitness said.
Meanwhile, the State government has identified and arrested the shooter and promised to bring him to justice for the killing.
