Pop Singer, Timaya is being dragged by Nigerians for calling out the attention of President Bola Tinubu’s government on the destruction of farms by Fulani Herdsmen.
The singer had taken to social media, X, to call out the President to intervene and stop the Herdsmen from destroying people’s farms in Bayelsa State.
“Pls the government should do something. They are destroying farms in BAYELSA, Aboki take your in cow inside and feed them.. This is so sad….” The Bayelsa State born singer wrote on X.
Recall that the herdsmen has been called out several times for destruction of farmland across the country in a bid to feed their cow. However, Timaya who called the herdsmen excess was reminded his past during the 2023 election that saw the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, to retain power.
One user wrote: “You are now complaining because the insecurity touched you and your people? Use the money you collected from APC to hire vigilantes for Bayelsa state”

“Bayelsa that is managing the small land they have? What is cow doing on people’s farm ? Where one LGA from the north is bigger than the whole of Bayelsa this is not fair,” another user wrote.
