A family in Unubi, Ihiala LGA in Anambra State is seeking justice after their son, 15 years old Michael Somtochukwu Nwokedi was shot dead and his sister brutally raped a yet to be identified criminal.
The incident happened on the 15th of April 2025. According to reports shared by a Facebook user, Somtochukwu and his sister were resting in their home when a mask man scaled through the fence and invaded their home.
The reports said the criminal shot Somtochukwu and proceeded to raped the sister.
The reports accused the Anambra State police officer of extortion and not helping with the case.
The reports reads:
“Please ma my name is Chisom Nwokedi from Ihiala Anambra State, ma please help me post on your platform , my family and I are seeking justice for one of my cousin brother that was brutally murdered on the 15th of April 2025.
“He’s a 15 year old boy that came back from boarding school for Easter break on the 11th. He was at home with the sister when a masked man jumped into the house, entered the parlor where they were watching movie and shot him without a word and raped my sister twice before running away from the scene.
“The house is located in the bush with no neighbors around as at that time since everyone was at work, my brother died on the spot. He’s just a 15-year-old boy. The suspect has been arrested but he’s denying it because of the mask he wore and feels like he can’t be recognized but my sister recognizes him and he fits the description she gave the police before he was even arrested.
“Please my family are calling unto well-meaning Nigerians to aid in getting Somto the justice he deserves, the police are looking less of us, they’re just extorting money from us, they collected **** in opening a case for this
“Please anyone that can help us, I’ll be in the comment section waiting. This happened in Unubi, Anambra State where my uncle and aunty reside”.
